First of all, congratulations on starting another semester in college, and welcome to your literature course! 🙂

Start with clicking Syllabus in the main menu. You will find crucial information such as the full course description, my contact information, and our recurring Zoom link (for meetings and office hours).

Then, consult the Schedule in the main menu, and start taking a look at the weekly Modules and Assignments. Every week, you will do some reading, watch the lecture recording (30-50 min duration) and fill in an exit ticket. Once in the semester, you will also lead the discussion by writing a post on a shared Google Doc. You will work gradually towards you project, which will be the culmination of your assessment in the course.

This class is scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7:50 am to 9:30 am EST, but you will complete most of the work asynchronously. This means that we will not meet every week, but only on targeted occasions: at the start of the semester, several times in the middle, before assignments are due, and towards the end of the semester, in preparation for submitting your final project. Each week, you can complete the homework at your own pace, as long as you finish it by the end of the week (module dates are on the Schedule).

During the first meeting, I will explain our weekly programme, as well as the assignments to submit during the semester.
