Welcome!

First of all, congratulations on starting another semester in college, and welcome to your world literature course! 🙂

Start with clicking Syllabus in the main menu. You will find crucial information such as the full course description, my contact information, our unique zoom link (for both meetings and office hours), and policies.

Then, consult the Schedule in the main menu, and start having a look at the Modules and Assignments pages. Every week, you will do some reading, watch the lecture recording (30-50 min duration) and fill-in an exit ticket. This class is allotted for Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:55 to 4:35 pm EST, but it has a “flipped format.” This means that we will only meet on Mondays (unless we need the Wednesdays on occasions). The rest of the work will be done asynchronously (at your own pace, within each module’s weekly time frame). During the first meeting on Tuesday, August 30th, I will explain our weekly program, as well as the assignments to hand in during the semester.

See you on Tuesday, August 30th at 2:55pm EST for our first meeting (recurring link on Syllabus page).

Happy start to your semester!
